Jr. Unity Developer

Responsibilities

• Define initial storylines and character biographies
• Transform design specification into functional game assets
• Establish an effective strategy and pipeline
• Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable codes
• Develop the base engine to run games
• Create storyboards and game scripts
• Work on the audio and graphic designs
• Collaborate with designers to animate game characters
• Write and execute unit tests for quality assurance
• Maintain code, identify bottlenecks, and fix bugs in the applications
• Document game specifications and operating instructions

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 1-2 years of industry experience in game development
• Excellent knowledge of latest gaming trends, technologies, and best practices
• High-working command over programming languages like C#, C++
• Working knowledge of game engines like Unity and Unreal Engine
• Good knowledge in areas such as artificial intelligence, 3D animation, 3D Rendering, multiplayer/networking, graphics, scripting, etc.

Good to haves

• Understanding of the game production pipeline process
• Excellent problem solving, communication and graphic design skills
• Strong troubleshooting and project management skills
